Yes, it does. The mission is actually going to be moving on to the asteroid Apophis once it drops off the Bennu sample. Along with the information from these studies will be the Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) mission which will attempt to shift the position of a tiny moon of the asteroid Didymos.
